Malta 2015 1

Hi. I’m Mags, a full time working girl, trying to make the most of my annual leave by cramming in as many holidays as possible. I’m a traveler at heart and want to see as much of the world I can. Unfortunately at the moment we’re not in a position to take a year out and travel long term so I’m trying to be wise with my days off, taking long weekends and doing city breaks where I can, usually travelling on a budget. I travel with my husband when he can get the leave, but also go away with friends. I’d love to travel solo as well, but haven’t managed to do that yet.

As well as trying to see as many places as possible, I would love to be one of those people who can make things from scratch. I love knitting and crochet. I’m *trying* to learn to sew (although the sewing machine sat in the corner, covered in dust would suggest otherwise right now), and I have an allotment where I grow fresh fruit and veg.

I’ve been married for 4 years now, and loved every moment of it. My husband is starting to get into my love of travel, and is even branching out on his own little trips to places. We should probably save more money and do something boring like pay off more of the mortgage, but I always think to myself “When I’m old, will i remember that year we paid extra off on the mortgage, or that time we went to xyz and did something amazing”.  Guess what wins 9 times out of 10!!

If you’ve got any questions about anywhere I’ve been, or anything I’ve done, please get in touch.

I’m constantly looking for new places to visit. Below is my current “top 10” wish list of where I’d love to go to (not necessarily in any particular order). I may not be able to get to them all at the moment, but hopefully I can tick a couple off in the next year, along with some other trips on the side.

  1. Ankor Wat, Cambodia
  2. Budva, Montenegro
  3. Skopje, Macedonia
  4. Isla Grande, Brazil
  5. Reykjavik Iceland
  6. Bruges, Belgium
  7. Jellyfish lake, Palau
  8. Istanbul, Turkey
  9. Alaska, USA
  10. New Zealand – just all of it!

If any of my readers have any places they think I should add to my “must see” list, or have any recommendations of things to do/where to stay in any of the places on my list then please do get in touch! I’d love to hear from you.
